Player guide

Everything you need on the course, in two minutes.

  1. 1 Sign in once

    • Tap Sign in (top right). Your username is your name in lower case with dots, for example j.kihiu; the admin gives you your PIN.
    • You stay signed in on that phone for 60 days.
    • First time? Go to More → Change my PIN and pick your own 4–6 digits.
    • Then set More → My handicap index (e.g. 12.4). It fills in your playing handicap each round.
    • Tip: add the site to your home screen (Share → Add to Home Screen on iPhone; ⋮ → Add to Home screen on Android).
  2. 2 Before you tee off

    • Today shows the round, your group, your partners and when you tee off.
    • Draws lists every group for every round.
  3. 3 Enter your score

    • On Today, tap Enter my score.
    • Type your front nine and back nine gross strokes and check your playing handicap (filled in from your handicap index, rounded; change it if the course needs a different number). Gross and net are worked out for you.
    • Tap Save score. An unusual nine (under 30 or over 70) asks you to confirm.
    • Then add a photo of your signed card (optional, but it helps the admin check).
    • You can correct your score until the admin locks the round.
  4. 4 Follow the scores

    • Today updates by itself every 15 seconds while the round is open.
    • Results ranks each round by net, then back-nine net; equal scores share a place (T3). Below it are the front-nine and back-nine standings.
    • Leaderboard adds up your net over the locked rounds. Players with more rounds completed rank first.
  5. 5 The casino

    • Everyone pays USD 10.00 a round into the pot.
    • When the admin locks a round, the pot is split into three pools, and each pool pays its own top 10:
    Front nine 30%135.00holes 1–9
    Back nine 30%135.00holes 10–18
    Overall 40%180.00the round

    Example: 45 players × 10.00 = USD 450.00 a round.

Within each pool the top 10 share it like this:

    1st 25%
    2nd 18%
    3rd 14%
    4th 11%
    5th 9%
    6th 7%
    7th 6%
    8th 5%
    9th 3%
    10th 2%
    • The nines are ranked on their own: strokes less half your handicap. Overall is the round result (net, then back-nine net).
    • You can win in more than one pool, so a strong front nine pays even if the round fades.
    • Tied players share the money for the places they cover.
    • Winnings add up over the tour and are paid on the last day. See More → Casino payouts.
  6. 6 The last round: pick your group

    • For the final round you choose whom you play with. When the admin opens picking, Today shows Pick your group.
    • Start a new group or Join one with room; you can leave and join another.
    • Groups are 3- or 4-balls, sized to the number of players. Anyone still looking when picking closes is placed in a group with room.
  7. 7 Stuck?

    • Forgot your PIN, or "Too many failed attempts"? Ask the tour admin to reset it or clear the lockout.
    • Not in a draw, or a wrong score after locking? The admin can fix it.
