Admin guide

The tour admin runs the portal and does not play. Admin pages are under More → Admin.

  1. 1 Before the tour

    • Sign in as admin and change your PIN (More → Change my PIN).
    • Players and PINs: set or correct a handicap index (players can also set their own), hand out usernames and PINs, add or deactivate players.
    • Rounds → Edit: confirm the real date (clears "provisional"), venue, casino fee, optional pot override, pot shares (front nine, back nine, overall; default 30/30/40) and the payout split used in each pool.
    • Settings: tour name, currency and the default fee, pot shares and split for new rounds.
    • Draw (on each round): move, add or remove players; groups renumber when you save.

  2. 2 Round day

    1. Morning: Rounds → Open round n. Only one round can be open; it becomes Today.
    2. During play: players enter their own scores. The dashboard shows who is still to come.
    3. Use the Scores grid for anyone without a phone: nines, handicap, NR with a reason, and untick Paid for anyone who did not pay the casino fee.
    4. After the last group: Lock round n. Scores freeze and the casino payouts for all three pools are fixed.
    5. Mistake after locking? Unlock, correct, Lock again; payouts are recalculated.

  3. 3 The last round

    1. A day or two before: Rounds → final round → Let players pick groups. The printed draw is cleared; players start or join groups.
    2. Tap Not playing on the group page for anyone who won't play.
    3. When ready: Close group picking. Anyone still looking is placed automatically; three-balls tee off first.
    4. Adjust in the draw editor if needed, then open and lock the round as usual.

  4. 4 Paying out

    • Casino → Settlement list shows what each player has won across locked rounds.
    • Print it, pay out, and tap Mark paid for each player.
    • While anyone is marked paid, no round can be unlocked, so totals cannot change under you.

  5. 5 Helping players

    • Forgotten PIN: Players and PINs → player → Reset PIN (shown once).
    • "Too many failed attempts": same page → Clear a sign-in lockout.
    • Every change is recorded in the Audit log, filterable by round and player.
